I'm always asked about which plant foods are and aren't acceptable for weight loss, so here's a list of Ryan Adams-approved foods! Needless to say, what matters for weight loss as a bottom line is being in a calorie deficit.
You can be in a calorie deficit eating foods NOT included on this list, and, adversely, be in a calorie surplus eating many of the foods on this list. You need to take the right steps with how you add these foods to your diet, weight loss isn't guaranteed merely by eating many of these.

Whole wheat bread
Black eyed peas
Low fat crackers
Dried fruit: apricots, prunes, dates (eat sparingly)
Higher fat natural foods
(to be eaten sparingly for weight loss)
Peanut butter (without oil)
Almond butter (without oil)
(served with plant milk, a handful of fruit and a half teaspoon of brown or coconut sugar)
Muesli (often unprocessed anyway)
More processed foods
(some have been listed already)
Wholewheat pizza bases
Whole wheat tortilla wraps
Corn tortilla wraps
Chilli rice crackers
Soy rice crackers
Gluten-free versions of the above (for those with gluten intolerances)
