I'll keep this one short...
What you MUST understand about weight loss is the following:
Weight loss doesn't get easier, you get stronger.

There are things you can do to make the process easier - this amazing nutrition approach certainly helps - but the work is tough nonetheless:
-
challenging limiting beliefs
-
breaking old habits and forming new ones
-
saying "NO" to cravings
A WFPB diet isn't going to magically fix all of these things.
The process of weight loss, as with any life change, will still inevitably feel like a slog at times. Prepare yourself mentally to take it on!
I constantly rant on about how I feel the mental/emotional component is the neglected area of weight loss teaching.
Coaches, doctors and "influencers" will talk all day long about which foods to avoid if you want to lose weight.
This undoubtedly has value. You need to understand about food and exercise tactics obviously.
But if you don't have the right mindset for weight loss, it doesn't matter how sound your nutrition OR exercise strategies are! You'll find it hard to be consistent.
When you're in the trenches, just starting out, having those intense feelings of withdrawal, feeling like you're sacrificing your freedoms and so on...
...remember this: you will not always be that person. In time, you can change.
Don't assume that the battles you're having now with staying compliant will always be present. If you keep at this, they won't.
Keep going!
