People often ask me why I am such a big promoter of natural foods for weight loss. You've probably already heard me talk about how many different ways there are to lose weight. And there really are heaps. So why natural foods? What is it about natural foods that makes them so good for getting that slim, tight and toned physique?
To be honest...I wouldn't know where to start in answering that. They are simply amazing. They have completely changed my life for the better. That's why I'm so enthusiastic about bigging them up to you guys. But don't worry, I'm not going to bore you with an endless list of reasons why natural foods are so amazing - which I could do all day long by the way! Instead I'm just going to give you one, extremely important reason.
The #1 Reason Why Natural Foods Are Effective For Weight Loss
Natural foods are exactly what we are designed to eat. And since humans are biologically programmed to be pretty lean, having a diet rich in natural foods is only going to lead to you becoming exactly that...pretty damn lean! So what are natural foods exactly? Rice, beans, corn, potato, oats, lentils, fruits and veggies are all examples of minimally-processed natural foods. Foods that mother nature provided for us, without any of the added oils, fats, chemicals and hormones. Foods that are actually more tasty and satisfying than processed junk foods, when you prepare them right.

As one of my biggest role models on nutrition, Dr. John McDougall, says in his very popular book named The Starch Solution: "More important than how much, how often, and when we eat is what we eat."
